Türkiye’nin ilk nanomotoru üretildi

10-person team within the scope of the project developed with the support of TUBITAK, Turkey’s first indigenous produce nanomotor.

Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) 10-person team, Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Turkey’s first indigenous scope of the project developed with the support of  the nanomotor has produced.

A team of 10 people from SDU developed the “Biosensor Purpose Nanomotors Project” to develop nanomotors.  TUBITAK project support from the teams, nearly a year after the study was able to produce the first domestic nanomotor Turkey.

The project’s executive is SDU Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Physics, Faculty Member. Dr. In a statement to journalists, Lütfi Öksüz said that the diameter of a strand of nanomotors is one-hundredth the size. Expressing that the nanomotors take their energy from the liquid they contain, Öksüz said, “We make coatings inside and outside of the particles . They provide them with the opportunity to move with liquid or gas in the environment they are in. They are called enginesbecause of their movement . These are non-living materials. ” said.

Öksüz stated that nanomotors are used in fields such as medicine, environmental analysis and agriculture, and said:

Nanotechnology for the future ,a field that needs to be studied, invested. In the human body, we can control these engines from the outside. We can produce them as magnetic and ultrasonic waves to direct them wherever we want in the human body. These are the engines that can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Since they are very small, you can direct them wherever you want. Can diagnose hereditary problems in the body, you can treat by installing drugs. ”
